Carpenter

Responsibilities:

• Are you a skilled craftsman with a passion for woodworking and construction? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a talent for turning raw materials into works of art? If so, we're seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team at IC Builders & Construction Ltd. As a carpenter, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our projects to life, from building custom furniture to framing structures and installing cabinetry. Your expertise and craftsmanship will help us create spaces that inspire and delight our clients.
• Responsibilities:
• - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. - Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to precise measurements. - Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture. - Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, adhesives, and other tools. - Install hardware, including hinges, handles, and locks. - Perform finishing touches, such as sanding, staining, and painting. - Inspect and assess the quality of completed work to ensure it meets safety standards and specifications. - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as architects, electricians, and plumbers, to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Requirements:
• - Proven experience as a carpenter or woodworking professional. - Proficiency in carpentry techniques, tools, and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics. - Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail. - Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various positions. - Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry (preferred).
